At RunAmok, we pride ourselves on being horseman first. Our staff has a diverse background in the horse industry, covering almost every discipline. Everyone on the team has extensive horse experience. We treat your horses like we would our own. Our knowledgeable drivers and friendly staff make sure you and your horse are taken care of from the first phone call to the final delivery. We know shipping your horse long distances can be stressful, both for the owner and the horse, so we strive to make it the best experience for everyone.
In addition to horsemanship skills, RunAmok drivers are thoroughly screened, background checked, and are randomly drug tested. We ensure that all of our drivers follow the rigorous USDOT regulations and commercial licensing. Safety is our topmost concern so we always plan our trips with this in mind.

JOEL
President and CEO
Joel started RunAmok Transportation in 2010. He saw the need for a better way to ship horses and decided to combine his love of horses and trucks to form one of the top shipping companies in the country. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of Colorado. Additionally, he has shown hunters and jumpers extensively in Colorado and throughout the West Coast. Joel does it all from managing RunAmok, driving, and mucking the trailer.
KRISTIAN
Vice President, Northern Operations
Kristian is a proud Colorado native and has spent his life with horses. He shows hunters and jumpers throughout the US. Some of his favorite horse shows include Spruce Meadows and The Oaks. He holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in animal science and agriculture from Colorado State University. When not riding or driving the truck, Kristian can be found skiing in the Rocky Mountains.
Meagan
Office Manager
When you call or email RunAmok, Meagan is likely the one you'll speak with. She manages our booking, scheduling, and office.
MIKE
Equine Relocation Specialist
Mike is based at our Texas location, and has been in the horse shipping industry for 20 years.
JEANETTE
Equine Relocation Specialist
Jeanette has extensive commercial truck driving and horsemanship experience. She has worked as a dispatcher for Western and frequently takes camping trips with her horses. Jeanette is exceptional with young and hard to load horses, and enjoys teaching young riders about trailering and traveling with horses.
CHARLIE
Equine Relocation Specialist
Charlie has over 40 years of experience training, riding, showing and managing horses. He has owned his own training and show farm, and has shown some of the country's top hunters and jumpers. When not driving, he can be found with his dart league or playing drums in his band.
RUFINO
Equine Relocation Specialist
Rufino is a local legend and anyone in the Colorado horse community has probably met him at least once. He has over 50 years of horse experience, maybe more, he's possibly immortal. Rufino got his start managing, breaking and training horses at Arapahoe Riding Club in Parker and continues his work there to this day.
MARLYE
Equine Relocation Specialist
Marlye was born and raised in North TX. Her passion for animals and helping others fueled her mentor program by helping youth with their FFA projects. Marlye is also involved in a donkey rescue. In her spare time, she loves getting to be Aunt Mo to her bonus nieces and nephews.
DEBBIE
Equine Relocation Specialist
Debbie has over 40 years of horse experience. She was the first person to graduate with honors from the Ag Department at Dodge City Community College with a degree in Equine Science. She has qualified 3 different horses for NBHA World Championships and continues to ride and train her barrel horses.
KYLE
Equine Relocation Specialist
Kyle is based in our Denver location. He is a farrier and a rodeo clown instructor. He is heavily involved in pro rodeo and exceptional at leaching young horses to load trailers.
EMMY
Equine Relocation Specialist
Emmy is Runamok's first driver starting in 2011, and continues today to drive our long haul routes. She is a true rancher and horseman and has extensive experience with hard-to-load and young horses. Emmy trains and shows mules, and runs her own business Calamity Carriages.
JESSICA
Equine Relocation Specialist
Jessica has been horsin' around since she was 5 years old. She has been a professional hunter/jumper trainer for 10 years. Jessica is based in our Aubrey, TX location. In her free time she rescues dogs and cats.
TOM
Equine Relocation Specialist
Tom is a Singer/Songwriter from Texas who's written with the likes of Cody Jinks and many others. Tom also owns Donkey Town Ranch, a donkey rescue in North, TX.
CHRISTIAN
Equine Relocation Specialist
Hailing from the great state of Florida, Christian grew up around horses and developed a passion for transporting them throughout the world.
