Run Amok Transportation was founded in 2010 by Joel Rifkin.   Being a horseman first, Joel recognized an opportunity to provide a better shipping experience for horses and owners. He decided to combine his love of horses and trucks to form one of the top shipping companies in the country.  Joel grew up riding as a young child in Littleton, Colorado and competes in hunters and jumpers at USEF horse shows all across the West Coast.   Attention to detail, safety, reliability, and experience is what has catapulted RunAmok to one of the top horse transportation companies in the United States.

Being based in Littleton, Colorado at Savoy Stables, with a new southern location in Argyle, Texas, and a hub in Lexington, KY has enabled RunAmok to build a direct route system throughout the country.  We specialize in horse show charter loads and customized service for each client.

Our fleet contains top quality trucks and custom built horse vans that are meticulously maintained.​ Our diverse fleet and exceptional team of drivers and staff can meet any horse shipping need from short local trips to cross country hauls. RunAmok is fully licensed, insured and registered with the US Department of Transportation. We are also a proud member of the National Horse Carriers Association.
